Meet The Instructors
Wanda
I’m Wanda (she/they) and I’ve been doing pole since 2018. I think stripper style pole is so important for me and also for people who aren’t in the sex work sphere because if you’re going to do this as hobby, you damn well should support the people who started it all! I find nothing more fulfilling than helping someone discover THEIR version of sexy!
Gingie (aka Jess)
I’m a sports therapy student obsessed with the human body and movement. I started aerial in 2012 and pole in 2014.
With a dance background, I love anything flowy and musical. I’ll be teaching front splits and pole strap, blending my passion for anatomy and rhythm. Can’t wait to share my enthusiasm with you!
Zac
Zac started pole in 2018 and has since choreographed and competed with routines in group and solo categories – where they won Semi-Pro category (2021) and Group category (2024). They have also performed and judged at a variety of pole events across the UK. Zac became an instructor in 2021 and loves teaching twisty and strength combos, as well as working with students on their goals
Char
My aerial adventure started in 2017 with pole fitness, less than a year later hoop had stolen my heart. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to this incredible discipline.
I’m passionate about empowering students and fostering a love for movement and strength. My classes encourage creativity and exploration, nurturing your curiosity and helping you discover your own unique aerial power.
Niki
I’ve been training pole and aerial since 2016, focusing more on my aerial training and teaching in the last few years. I love all things aerial, but if I had to choose a favourite equipment, that would be silks.
I just love how much stronger and braver it made me!
Kat
Raised by the Edinburgh University Pole Dance Society, and now teaching here in Lancaster, Kat has been poleing and flowing since 2018.
She loves all things flirty, slinky and vibrant, and is looking forward to dancing with you
Ashlea
Hi, I’m Ashlea, specialising in beginners and improvers Pole.
I’m a qualified personal trainer and MHFA. I adore the empowerment that comes with Pole and want to help others feel powerful too.
I have been practicing straps for about 5 years at this point and it easily became my favourite aerial equipment. I love all upper body related exercises and straps provides exactly that with loads of cool transitions and shapes mixed in.

Retreats
You can now holiday with Inversion Pole Fitness! Why not join us on an Inversion Pole and Aerial Retreat?! We run 3 night stay retreats for up to 6 students at a luxury lodge in Shropshire (All abilities welcome, from beginner through to advanced). During your stay you will receive 6 workshops (inc: 2 x Pole sessions, 2 x Lollipop Lyra sessions and 2 x Stretch and Flex sessions), prosecco on arrival, a goodie bag including Polehog wear and Better Bodies products and of course use of PRIVATE HOT TUB all weekend! All workshops will take place at a spacious local venue using our freestanding equipment and workshops will be instructed by Inversion Founder Lucy Webster and Head Instructor Jess Raby from the Lancaster studio. The beauty of this retreat is the fact that it is such a small group attending, with only 6 students but 2 instructors, students can have classes tailored to their needs and more support and attention during classes. And what a beautiful setting to learn in too! The weekend costs just £419. To secure a place, a non refundable deposit of £50 is required on booking, followed by a series of instalments spread over the lead up to the retreat, with the remaining balance due 4 weeks before.
